Ballet

Pre Ballet and Ballet classes are offered for children ages 2-1/2 and up. Beginning level classes meet once a week and include basic technique, barre work and center practice. Intermediate and Advanced level classes meet at least twice weekly and include choreography from various ballets.

Our training program stresses Vaganova style Russian ballet technique. Dancers become strong, flexible and knowledgeable about dance terms and music.

The Salinas School of Dance provides professional dance training in a traditional setting, producing well rounded, strong and versatile dancers who have been accepted to the Cleveland Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet School and London Festival Ballet School, to name a few….Our ballet students have traveled to England, Russia and Seattle to train with high quality teachers.
